IMPORTANT LESSON FROM FUTUROSCOPE
The increasing problem of polluted oceans may not be the first choice for a theme park attraction except at Futuroscope in France, where the new attraction, ‘The Eight Continent’, educates visitors about our oceans in an entertaining and very engaging way.
The attraction, a shooting game in which the guests have to clean the oceans, is based around Maud Fontenoy, the French sailor famous for her rowing across the Atlantic and Pacific oceans and her quest for ending pollution of our oceans. In the queue line visitors learn about her journeys on a huge, hand-painted wall with artifacts and monitors before entering the entertaining pre-show. The queue line, set design, light, sound and show control was designed and build by Jora Vision.
